Baymax, I mean, Big Hero 6

I first knew about the movie from a Japanese article (specifically, an article about Kotaro voicing Tadashi). Maybe that's what makes me keep saying "Baymax" instead of "Big Hero 6" when I am referring to it.

Baymax is super cute when he does this index finger pointing upward gesture, whatever it's called. Those squishy stubby fingers!

Baymax reminds me so much of Sheldon lol. The way they both analyze emotions technically. Also, they both do the "there, there" when they try to comfort someone. They both have this "innocence" that makes them so endearing.

I wish I could watch the Japanese version too. Kotaro is definitely very suitable as Tadashi. Hopefully, sometime, in the near future, it will be financially desirable for me to get DVDs just to hear, well, an actor's voice.

Die Mannschaft

This moment was too darn precioussss *squishes*

Movie/documentary, watched, finally. It brought back memories. Happy memories. It's still unbelievable that it really happened. It's been half a year, but it still makes me grin from ear to ear when I'm reminded by it.

As for the movie itself, there were pretty shots and random cute clips, so I'm pretty satisfied. I'm easily pleased, so that's hardly a surprise lol.

Random brand new information I found out from the movie:
  • The groupings at the fan mile were the members who stayed in the same houses during the World Cup.
  • Also, Müller wore that dress because of a lost bet.
It seems that my ability to form sentences is even worse tonight. It is taking me even longer than usual to put words together to form one sentence lol.

Feels

It was beautiful. Maru was beautiful. Yoko's hair was beautiful. Everyone was visually pleasing.

Love the Johnny's medley (would have been even more wonderful if they did a longer version of "SHE! HER! HER!"). Love the solo/unit shuffle. Love "Junjou Hanabi". Love the yukata. Love the costumes in general. Love "Brulee". Love the endroll. Love the HachiFes.

Love how Maru was just sitting there during "Ikko Niko Niko". I am so going to watch the Hohoemi Date again real soon.

I was listening to "10nengo no Kyou no Hi mo" on repeat recently, so it felt extra special to watch a performance of it now.

I actually feel like re-watching the entire thing again right away. I will, tomorrow, after Hohoemi Date, and if I don't get distracted by the year end and new year SPs.

Also, it really helped that I didn't run into any problem when making the purchase and with the delivery (it even arrived sooner than I'd expected). I have only positive memories of it lol.

Obviously, not even a shred of regret from buying it. \XD/

Catching up

The next one on the xx-Jun series: JackieJun.

I'm sure there is someone out there who has compiled a list of all the xx-Jun that has happened, but I shall compile a list for myself too... When I actually have files in my laptop and external HDD organized, to a certain degree. One day. Surely.

I've finally caught up with Shiyagare, but I'm about a month behind with VSA, a couple of weeks with Janiben, and very much behind on probably every other regular shows. I'm also very much behind with most of the Autumn dramas. Actually, the only drama I'm not behind with is "Gomenne Seishun", which happens to be my favorite for this season.

It was all because Tom Hardy happened. lol. Also, at around the same time, I randomly decided I was going to read and/or re-read Poirot novels according to this recommended reading order. I'm now at "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" btw. (I remember now. It was after the Orient Express drama SP twitter account tweeted their recommended Christie's novels that I decided to start reading.)

Anyway, I will... I must catch up with stuff by the end of the year (when there are going to be a whole lot of year end and new year specials - I'm feeling both excited and horrified)!

The Take

One of the few rare scenes when I didn't feel scared of or disturbed by Freddie.

This screencap is also a misleading image of Freddie. No, whatever it is you imagine Freddie's character might be like from looking at this picture is wrong. lol.

What I generally felt while watching "The Take" was how freaking upsetting Freddie was. One moment he'd be giving the cutest smile, and my brain would go like, "tomhardyyy<3<3<3", the next moment he'd be a cold-blooded psychotic bastard.

To start things off

nube-maru

I'm no writer. I can't properly put my thoughts and feelings into words. And yet, the brain is always churning out thoughts and feelings, especially when I'm watching things on my laptop (in other words, things that are very relevant to my interest), during which my face will be like Maru's in this screencap (minus the cute).

I watch way too many things, because the list of things (or people rather) that interest me just keeps growing.

I also take way too many screencaps.

So this blog is to accommodate just these: mostly incoherent random thoughts on some of the things I've watched accompanied with screencaps, plus maybe some related (and unrelated) ramblings.
